![]() I don't know if the problem is the with the synchronised clips…probably the option to flatten synchronised clip as you can do with multicam clips would be helpfull to relink in other softwares the original audio clips some how.īut the possibility to export audio, with metadata, and the possibility to relink to the original audio files is vital when you edit a feature film or documentary. No metadata, audio files named after the video files, no way to relink to the original audio files. Improved handling of video codec defaults and audio file names when exporting timelines to Pro Toolsīut after a day of testing with pro tools, not much has changed from davinci 15.Ability to render broadcast wave files with support for metadata when exporting timelines to Pro Tools. ![]() Great new version, thanks BMD for the hard work, but I have to say my one and only need apparently is addressed even in davinci 16 as annunced Perhaps this could even be done for retiming as well, not sure. What about having a button that gets Resolve to match sizing in the currently selected clip in the timeline to whatever is up in the Offline Reference monitor? I pitched the idea to Alexis van Hurkman at NAB today & his question was how much time would this save - I'm thinking it could easily save me a couple days every year! If a project coming from FCPX or Premiere isn't set up just so, I'm stuck matching by hand. One specific pain point is having to fix framing/sizing - that's what takes the most amount of time for me in a conform. I know that requires integration across vendors, which I imagine could be tough!Īnother option is making Resolve smarter, even using the new neural engine. Perhaps that's just making an 'open timeline' format of some sort that works between NLE's, or updating XML to a more modern format. Conform can be a lot of work that isn't actually 'useful,' per se. ![]() I'd love for you guys to take a crack at doing that for conform. I know the Cut page was an attempt to remove unproductive 'work' from editing. This is a general request with some specific ways I've thought of to address it.
